Millionaire Ges is Penrith rugby club’s new sponsor

Millionaire businessman Ges Ratcliffe is to be the new sponsor of Penrith rugby union club.
Now he is to be the main sponsor of the rugby union club as they prepare for the 2008/09 season.
Penrith RFUC President Keith Davies said: “We are very pleased that Mr Ratcliffe has agreed to be the main sponsor for the club, particularly as he is so heavily involved with the town’s soccer club.
“His passion is for the round ball game but he was a schoolboy rugby player and we look forward to seeing him at Winters Park as often as possible.
“Penrith soccer’s impending move to Frenchfield will mean that our facilities will only be a few hundred yards apart.”
