Get behind the Blues

FORTUNE-TELLING is not Reiver’s strong point so I will resist venturing a prediction for tomorrow night when high-flying Carlisle United attempt to close the gap on League One leaders Swansea at Brunton Park.
Gazing into my crystal ball, though, I do see the stadium being rather more full than it was four weeks ago when just 5,300 home fans watched the Cumbrians beat Luton Town. But it will be less full than when 13,000 United supporters saw their team beat Leeds last November.
If only more Cumbrians were attracted to Brunton Park by the home team rather than the opposition, United’s ambition of Championship football would be much easier to realise.
