Cumbria's Museum of Military Life is offering an insightful look behind the scenes of the Somme battlefield.
Associate professor Fiona Graham of Staffordshire University and senior lecturer Paul Ottey will discuss their work in France, transforming the Hawthorn Crater site using film technology.
They were part of an international team that utilised advanced film technologies to breathe life back into the historical First World War battlefield.
They will be joined by military historian Andrew Robertshaw.
Robertshaw is well known for his consultant work on hit films, including War Horse and 1917.
The talk will take place on November 14 at 6pm.
