An award-winning visitor attraction will be extending its season to welcome even more visitors
Cumberland's Solway Aviation Museum, buoyed by record visitor numbers, will extend its opening days until December 30.
Despite the Vulcan Bomber remaining closed, the museum and select aircraft will welcome enthusiasts on Saturdays from 10.30am to 3pm.
To compensate, the venue has cut entry price to £4, with family tickets still at £15.
The museum, based at Carlisle Lake District Airport, is a visitor hotspot and has remained busy this year.
A spokesman said: "The gift shop will be open selling all manner of aviation-based items ideal if you want something special for Christmas."
