Cumbrian swimmer Luke Greenbank claimed silver and bronze in the 2023 Lausanne Swim Cup.

First, the Cockermouth star went head to head with Swiss favourite Roman Mityukov in the final of the men's 200m backstroke.

Olympic medallist Greenbank set the early pace but the home swimmer - the Swiss record holder - overhauled him to claim a narrow victory in a time of 1.58.02, ahead of Greenbank in 1.58.39.

They came ahead of French swimmer Christophe Brun who finished in 2.04.66.

Greenbank was then back in action in the men's 100m backstroke - and finished fastest in the heats to qualify for the final later today at the Centre Aquatique Vaudoise Arena.

In the final, he came third behind Italy's Thomas Ceccon and Mityukov in the final.
