A TRAINEE outdoor instructor was found collapsed by members of Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team on Good Friday.
The 19-year-old man from Cumbria had been taking part in a training exercise. He was discovered as mountain rescuers set out for their own training session.
The teenager was found to be cold and disorientated.
He was taken back to the Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team base, where he was treated for hypothermia.
He was then transferred to hospital in Carlisle by air ambulance.
