My tomato looks like a duck

AN UNUSUALLY shaped tomato has been uncovered in a West Cumbrian allotment.
Is it a duck? Matthew Moore with the duck-shaped tomato
The fruit, which bears a resemblance to a cartoon duck, was discovered in Workington earlier this week.
The peculiarly shaped fruit, which has what appears to be eyes, a beak and a tongue, was delivered as a gift to its current owners in a bag full of tomatoes in the Labour Club.
The proud owners of the tomato-duck are Shirley Kristiansen, 60, of Yeowartville and her grandson Matthew Moore, 9, of Gladstone Street.
Ms Kristiansen said: “It was the only tomato in the box that looked funny: the rest all looked normal.”
