Leeds aren’t complaining

LEEDS United are not complaining about the 10 point deduction.

The issue is that no-one, including the Football League, have ever specified what rule or rules were broken and hence why Leeds United were docked a further 15 points.

There is no rule in the Football League rule book that Leeds United broke, so perhaps Hugh McIlmoyle can explain why Leeds United should ‘take it on the chin.’

My suggestion is that if he is going to pontificate he should stick to a subject he understands because the Football League rule book is clearly something he has never read.

The fact is that every club in this league was given a 15 point headstart and Leeds United could not buy or sell players until one week before the season started and yet are still in a play off position.

Get over the fact that when Leeds United get their 15 points back you will no longer be in an automatic promotion slot.
