Reds start pre-season training

First-team stalwarts Graham Anthony and Anthony Wright missed out when the Workington Reds squad launched pre-season training. The pair, plus assistant manager Viv Busby, are on holiday.
Boss Darren Edmondson supervised Reds’ gruelling opening session, attended by 20 players.
The session included two, three mile runs and a circuit session lasting two hours, recent recruit Dan Robinson meeting his new team mates for the first time.
