Sven should walk away

SVEN GORAN ERIKSSON is only kidding himself when he describes his relationship with unpredictable Manchester City's owner, Thaksin Shinawatra, as hunky-dorey.

The Swede should tell Shinawatra precisely where to stick his job after having to endure endless speculation over his future and rumours that Portugal national boss Phil Scolari is being lined up as a replacement.

City’s Thai owner demanded a top-10 spot and European football – and Eriksson delivered both.

If that’s not good enough than Shinawatra is just being unreasonable.

Eriksson should say enough is enough and walk away with dignity because it’s not worth the humiliation.
